The mail tray automation conveyor was utilized during sorting of mail. The mail tray conveyor has sliding tray holders to hold the trays and the trays slide out so you can place mail pieces in the trays in specific numbered slots as you are sorting mail. Once the trays are sorted, the trays can be placed on the conveyor to move the trays down to prepare the trays with sleeves and strapping. This equipment was extremely helpful to hold the trays and keep the trays organized in order. In addition, the conveyor was helpful to move the trays to the strapping location.
