Epic Select is designed around cut-sheet work, while other Epic configurations support continuous or dual cut-sheet input, flats applications, and a broader range of feeder types. The Plus Speed option can increase rated throughput to as much as 24,000 cycles per hour. 

Don’t dismantle the system before contacting us. A complete Epic line with its input, integrity, feeding, folding and output equipment may be more valuable than the base inserter alone.

If you’re preparing an Epic for sale, look closely at the modules installed on the machine before submitting your equipment information.

BlueCrest has offered a number of Epic-specific productivity options, including Plus Speed, Auto Gapping, Booklet Feeding, Input Line Scanning, Cross Folding, card attaching and inline Print+ technology. These options can significantly change what an Epic system is capable of producing. 

For example, a basic cut-sheet system and an Epic equipped for high-speed continuous transactional work with scanning, roll input and specialized finishing should not be evaluated as though they were the same machine.

Photos of each major module are useful if you aren’t sure how your system is configured.
